1.Respect means that everybody should be treated fairly and as if
they are a person of value.
2. Respect relates to how I feel about myself because I would never do
something to others that I would want done to me. Also, I respect
myself for the choices I make and the way in which I interact with
others and act in certain situations.
3.Respect relates to how I interact with others because I treat them,
as I would want to be treated, which is in a respectful manner.
4.Some respectful gestures I have encountered with others is to
always listen to what someone has to say, this includes not talking
over them or interrupting them. I believe that looking someone in the
eye and giving them your full attention is respectful, as well as
using an appropriate tone depending on who you are talking to.
5.Some disrespectful encounters I have experiences is people having a
bad attitude when trying to get work done in a group. Also, when
conversing with certain people and another people interrupts you, this
is extremely disrespectful to me.
6.This all relates to public relations because respect should be
mutual between two people. If one party respects the other, then there
will be a good relationship formed. Also, you must know how to
respect other cultures when working in PR.
